Pressure Washing and Soft Washing (FAQs)
Q: What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
A: Pressure washing uses high-speed, high volume water to blast away dirt from hard surfaces like concrete.
Soft washing uses low pressure, high volume water combined with specialised cleaning solutions to safely kill organic growth like algae and mould on delicate surfaces like roofs and sidings.
Q: Will pressure washing damage my property?
A: It can if done incorrectly. This is why we use soft washing for roofs and sidings. We adjust our PSI and nozzle tips based on the surface material to ensure a damage-free result.
Q: Is the cleaning solution safe for my plants and pets?
A: Yes. We use eco-friendly, biodegradable cleaners. As an extra precaution, we pre-wet all nearby landscaping and rinse it thoroughly afterward to ensure your garden stays healthy.
Q: How often should I have my house washed?
A: For most properties in our area, we recommend a professional wash every 6 to 12 months to prevent the buildup of mould and algae that can cause permanent staining.
Q: Do I need to be home during the service?
A: No. As long as we have access to the areas of the property being cleaned, access to a water tap, and all windows/doors are tightly shut, we can complete the exterior work while you're away. We’ll send you photos of the finished result!.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we are fully insured and all our work is guaranteed.
